The third painting in the “ Smemagold” series. As the title suggests, “Impact” is the ideal sequel to “Fallin’ Meteorite.” If the previous work the fall of the meteorite were the genesis of an idea, “Impact” is the moment of arrival, the liquid explosion, the perennial transformation to which the heterogeneous forces that make up the work are subjected. Through a power of lava symbolising generation of life, the painting transmits a paradoxical aspect that is maternal and sinister at once.

Il terzo dipinto della serie "Smemagold". Come suggerisce il titolo, "Impact" è il seguito ideale di "Fallin' Meteorite". Se nell'opera precedente la caduta del meteorite era la genesi di un'idea, "Impact" è il momento di arrivo, l'esplosione liquida, la trasformazione perenne a cui sono sottoposte le forze eterogenee che compongono l'opera. Attraverso una potenza lavica che simboleggia la generazione della vita, il dipinto trasmette un aspetto paradossale, materno e sinistro allo stesso tempo.
